Laugh out loud as Zee Cinema airs Phir Hera Pheri on Saturday 21st October at 8pm
Festivals are all about enjoying to your heart’s content. Whether it is about spending quality time with family members, or having a good time, entertainment is always on the cards. Making this Diwali super-special, Zee Cinema, Home of Blockbusters, will air the super-hit rib-tickling comedy film Phir Hera Pheri as a part of its Shanivar Ki Raat Akshay Ke Saath festival on Saturday 21st October 2017 at 8 PM. A slapstick comedy directed by Neeraj Vora and produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwala, Phir Hera Pheri will make for two hours of laughter, fun and entertainment.
As the iconic trio Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Suniel Shetty) and Baburao Ganpatrao Apte (Paresh Rawal) return for the sequel of this hit comic caper, they promise to leave viewers in splits! Having made it big after the first movie, Phir Hera Pheri will highlight a coalition with a don as the greed for more money leads to twists and turns in Raju, Shyam and Baburao’s unsuspecting lives. Along with Akshay Kumar Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal, Phir Hera Phera has an ensemble cast comprising of Bipasha Basu, Rimi Sen, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav and Sharat Saxena, each adding their own tadka of entertainment to the film.
Phir Hera Pheri begins immediately after the end of the first film where Raju, Shyam and Baburao are living plush lives having risen from rags to riches. But this luxury is short lived as Raju falls prey to a sham in the name of risk-taking. When an attractive young woman named Anuradha (Bipasha Basu) offers to double a sum of 1 Crore in 21 days, blind greed takes over. Raju convinces Shyam and Baburao to take a loan from an unknown investor – a don named Pappu (Rajpal Yadav) to make the investment. But, when the 21 days are up, the trio realises that Anuradha and her company have disappeared with money. As Pappu comes collecting his loan, the trio must do everything possible to protect themselves and Anjali (Rimi Sen)!
With all their money lost through the scam, how will Raju, Shyam and Baburao get out of this situation?
